Starship was asked by iShred, a new, secure mobile onsite document destruction company, to create a brand identity that would not only look visually striking compared to its competitors, but would also encapsulate the contemporary, cutting-edge nature of the brand.

Unique Brand Space

iShred is a company that’s focused on helping companies comply securely with their Privacy Act 1988 responsibilities, using a secure, cost-effective method of document destruction. It operates mainly in the Melbourne Metropolitan area, using state of the art, CCTV-wired technology that allows clients to watch as their documents are disposed of. It also sends the shredded documents afterwards to paper recyclers, not a landfill. As such, we wanted to create a brand that not only reflected the nature of iShred’s company but also its location: the brand had to look visually striking, restrained, corporate but still approachable. The type of company was expressed in the uneven lettering of the brand logotype, reminiscent of different strips of newly shredded paper. Starship created the brand identity, copy, and website for iShred following the client’s requirements and needs. The website has gone live, and iShred is now operating in Victoria. Good luck, guys!
